The Empty Bell: A Contemplative Sanctuary Sanctuary for the study and practice of Christian meditation and prayer. Our purpose is to learn about the history and practice of the Christian contemplative way as rooted in the Gospels, and to explore its common ground with other ancient Wisdom teachings. We give special attention to the Christian-Buddhist dialogue. Buddhist-Christian Studies A scholarly journal devoted to Buddhism and Christianity, their historical and contemporary interrelationships. The Los Angeles Buddhist-Roman Catholic Dialogue Sponsored by the Buddhist Sangha Council of Southern California and the Catholic Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs. It was formed as an official, on-going, core group dialogue. |
